At La Mama Boutique, we take great care in the quality of every item we sell. Please read our exchange policy carefully before making a purchase.
Our Policy
We do not offer cash refunds. All sales are final unless an item is received damaged or is incorrectly fulfilled (wrong item sent).
We offer exchanges only, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Exchanges
You may request an exchange within 7 days of receiving your order, provided:
- The item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition
- All original tags are still attached
- The item is returned in its original packaging
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for exchange.
Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items cannot be exchanged for hygiene and safety reasons:
- Underwear, lingerie, and swimwear
- Earrings and pierced jewellery
- Items marked as Final Sale or Clearance
- Gift cards
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or exchange at no additional cost to you.
To report a damaged or incorrect item, email us at [insert email] with your order number and a clear photo of the item.
How to Request an Exchange
- Email us at [insert email] with your order number and the reason for the exchange
- We will confirm whether your item qualifies
- You will be given instructions on how to return the item
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your exchange
Please note: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrectly sent.
Consumer Rights
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the CPA.
